Spring Ultra Budget & DMZ with Pyongyang Trade Fair Extension tour
Join YPT for what we believe to be the cheapest ever travel package to take people into the DPRK!
We’ve designed this trip to be packed full of all the must-see sites. We’ll be visiting the Kim Il Sung Square, the Korean War museum where the captured US spy ship rests, riding the famous Pyongyang Metro and amongst other awesome activities!
For those who want to spend an extra day with us to see the DMZ from the north side come join our Group B option! We’ll visit the city of Kaesong which is only a few kilometres from the border. We’ll also check out another city halfway between Kaesong and Pyongyang to try their famous locally brewed Makkoli.
By making use of travelling from Dandong (which is easily reachable from most of China), we are able to offer a great price that has you in the country for 2 nights, 3 days, which is inclusive of one full day seeing all the main sites of Pyongyang, going out both nights of the trip.
We’ve added a Group C to this tour to check out something tourists in Pyongyang aren’t usually able to explore. The Pyongyang Annual Spring Trade Fair is commencing on Monday the 11th of May and we have access to this incredibly unique exhibition to what local and foreign companies offer to the locals of North Korea. During this group tour we’ll also have more access to sights in Pyongyang you wouldn’t usually have access to on our Ultra Budget tour
We’ve designed this tour to be short and sweet, and easy on the wallet.
Please note: All travellers must have a re-entry visa into China as there isn’t enough time to apply for a Chinese visa in Pyongyang and the 144 hour transfer visa doesn’t permit rail use.
