Safaris to Nimule National Park

Without a doubt, safaris are the first thing that come to mind to most people when they think about Africa. Much less people, however, would think of a safari in South Sudan. With Young Pioneer Tours, nothing is impossible and we can arrange safaris to South Sudan’s most interesting National Park: Nimule.

Dating from the British colonial era, Nimule is a national park right by the border with Uganda. It is renowned for its elephants, hippopotamuses, dense bird life and crocodiles. For those who want to visit South Sudan briefly without spending much time in Juba, the capital, this can be a formidable option.

Nimule can be accessed either flying-in from Juba or by crossing to it by Uganda. Flying in from South Sudan is actually quicker and simpler, surprisingly, than making your way there from Kampala and crossing. We however offer both possibilities.

If you wish to visit Nimule from Uganda, we can organise the same itineraries. The first day is changed for a day of travel to Nimule from Kampala.
