North Korea Trade Fair Announcement 2019

With over 320 companies present at last year’s Pyongyang Trade Show, we here at Young Pioneer Tours are again excited to announce the dates for this year’s Pyongyang Spring Trade Fair, held from the 20th to the 24th of May 2019. The dates for the Pyongyang Autumn Trade Fair are to be announced at a later date.

Held beside the Three Revolutions Exhibition in Pyongyang, these two seasonal trade fairs take place annually and are not only aimed at those interested in doing business in North Korea, but those interested in peeking into the burgeoning trade industries and investment opportunities in the DPRK.

With 2017 and 2018’s trade fairs attracting over 320 companies despite toughened U.N. sanctions, these trade fairs are intended by North Korea to increase trade with the outside world. Last year’s fairs attracted over 70 foreign companies from 14 countries including China, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Italy, and Cuba.

With the Spring Trade Fair focusing on consumer goods for import and export, and the Autumn Trade Fair focusing on international trade agreements and foreign trade companies showcasing their products in the DPRK, Young Pioneer Tours is able to facilitate full itineraries to either trade fair, tailored to your specific needs and interests.

Our ‘Spring Ultra Budget & DMZ with Pyongyang Trade Fair Extension’ tour will be attending the opening ceremony of the Pyongyang Spring Trade Fair. Be one of the very few foreigners to attend this unique event in North Korea.
