One thing we really want to do when the #DPRK opens up again is enjoy petrol clams and wash them down with northern #soju. Perhaps you've tried soju before and don't particularly enjoy the chemical taste, but we're almost certain that if you are not currently a fan of soju, you'll have a change of heart as soon as you try soju from the north, which tends to be made the traditional way without the aforementioned chemical taste that's characteristic of the most common brands of southern soju. These petrol clams are most commonly eaten when we visit #Nampo, a port city southwest of #Pyongyang.

It's #DPRKpop hours again! The title of this song is 사랑가 (Sarang-ga), which literally translates to "Love Song," and it is sung by Choe Sam Suk 최삼숙. If you've seen Crash Landing on You, then this song and the name of its performer might sound very familiar to you, because this is the song that played in the restaurant where Yoon Seri and Ri Jeong-hyeok saw the first snow of the year. The singer's name, Choe Sam Suk, was the name Seri adopted in Ri's village when she had to hide her true identity. She picked the name after spotting an album cover in the room.

We ventured into #Object1180, an underground command post in #Moldova designed to protect people from nuclear radiation in the event of an emergency. Its construction began in 1985 and was near completion by the end of 1991. However, with the dissolution of the #SovietUnion, it was left abandoned. It's slowly being dismantled, so it seems like it'll be gone within a few years. If you want to visit before that happens, you can book a tour such as the May 2022 Ultimate Transnistria Victory Day Tour that has this nuclear survival #bunker in its itinerary.
