YPT Tours to the Solomon Islands
Our Solomon Islands Tours takes you to the Solomon Islands in Melanesia, a country often overlooked by mainstream tourism.
The Solomon Islands remain one of the Pacific’s best-kept secrets, a tropical archipelago rich in history, culture, and natural wonder. Nestled in the southwestern Pacific, this remote paradise offers a unique travel experience, from pristine jungle-covered islands and crystal-clear lagoons teeming with marine life to the relics of sanguinary battles in WWII.
A pivotal battleground during World War II, the islands are scattered with relics of the past, downed aircraft, sunken warships, and overgrown bunkers bear witness to the fierce Pacific campaigns, especially around Guadalcanal.
Solomon Islands travel highlights are not limited to Guadalcanal, but also include the remote Western Province gems of Munda and Gizo. In Munda, visitors can explore hidden Japanese artillery, wartime tunnels, and historic Allied landing beaches that bring the Pacific War vividly to life. Meanwhile, Gizo offers laid-back island-hopping adventures to the famous Skull Island and the legendary Kennedy Island, along with pristine coral reefs.
With direct connections from Brisbane, Port Moresby, and Nadi, the Solomon Islands are more accessible than you might think. Join YPT for one of our group or private tours, or let us help you create your perfect bespoke tour to the Solomon Islands.

Afterward, you might slip back into the water for one more snorkel session. Otherwise, take a stroll along the on beach, watch hermit crabs scuttle by, or curl up in a hammock under the coconut palms.
