Looking for somewhere unique to spend
this Christmas for a fun story to tell the family and friends? Come join YPT on
our third ever Christmas visit to the DPRK! What better way to spend Christmas
than in the heart of Pyongyang?
Our Group A part of the tour will take
you directly south towards the DMZ to have an extensive tour of Panmunjom where
both North and South Korea meet for talks. We’ll have our very own military
guide. You’ll visit the city of Kaesong which is only a few kilometres from the
border, as well as checking out Sariwon – another city halfway between Kaesong
and Pyongyang to try their famous locally brewed Makkoli and enjoy the
panoramic view of this mystic city.
For those who want to spend an extra day
with us join Group B to see the must-see sites of Pyongyang and we’ll be doing
it all on Christmas day! You’ll have the chance to visit Kim Il Sung Square,
the Korean War museum where the captured US spy ship rests, riding the deep famous
Pyongyang Metro and amongst other awesome activities!
By making use of travelling from Dandong
(which is easily reachable from most of China), and the more than comfortable
Ryanggang in Pyongyang, we are able to offer a great price that has you in the
country for 2 nights, 3 days, which is inclusive of one full day seeing all the
main sites of Pyongyang, going out both nights of the trip, as well as most
importantly seeing all the celebrations that will be taking place around
We’ve designed this tour to be short and
sweet.. and easy on the wallet after those hefty expenses!
Please note: All travellers must have a
re-entry visa into China as there isn’t enough time to apply for a Chinese visa
in Pyongyang and the 144 hour transfer
visa doesn’t permit rail use.
