Iran to Open for Foreign Tourism at the End of July

Today we received the very exciting news from our partners in Iran that the country was planning on opening to vaccinated travellers in late July.

“The issuance of tourist visas will resume in the second half of July based on initial agreements with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the Interior Ministry,” Vali Terymouri, the deputy tourism minister, announced on Wednesday.

While of course, this is incredibly welcome news from our partners and a great step in the right direction for the resumption of tourism into Iran we are still waiting for more details such as what vaccines will be approved for quarantine free travel, PCR testing requirements and if the visa process for US/UK/Can passports is open or not. We will continue to provide updates as we recieve them.

In the meantime, you can take a look at our upcoming Iran group tours or get in touch with us today for sample Iran private tour options for when travel to the country becomes possible again.
